Hard Rock casino recruits ex-Trump Taj Mahal workers for 3K open jobs

Come work for us. That's the message the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel Atlantic City is sending to former employees at the shuttered Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, as it seeks to hire thousands of workers for its new Atlantic City property.

Hard Rock posted job listings for "former team members at the Trump Taj Mahal & Casino who were employed at least 30 days before the property closed" in October 2016.

The jobs opportunities include food and beverage, hotel operations, table games, slot operations, cage operations, marketing and entertainment.

Hard Rock said it will be posting updates about future events for those interested in applying for jobs here.

The casino is expected to have 2,400 slots and 130 table games in a redesigned interior with new food and beverage concepts headlined by its signature Japanese restaurant, Kuro.

The single biggest story in Atlantic City in the new year will be the reopening of the former Trump Taj Mahal as a Hard Rock casino resort in the summer

Hard Rock's property will also upgrade to a 400-seat venue with a new stage and central location within the property.

Last year, Hard Rock purchased the former Trump Taj Mahal, and it is spending around $500 million to renovate it. It plans to reopen the property under its brand this summer.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will become the go-to entertainment destination with live music, sporting events, conferences and shows at two separate arenas, seating up to 7,000+ people. The hotel and casino will also boast brand exclusive offerings, such as a full-service Rock Spa and The Sound of Your Stay music amenity program offering complimentary in-room Fender guitar checkouts.

With Hard Rock serving as curators of the world’s largest and priceless music memorabilia collection, the property’s design will include museum-like displays adorning the walls throughout the property. Memorabilia for the hotel will be carefully hand-selected with a focus on contemporary musicians and artists who call New Jersey home.
